...and fits into an adapter housing and can be adapted probably also for many other TRX. This interface (by IK2BCP) serves to control the Transceiver and the data transfer to the PC. Most TRX have a serial interface on 5V TTL level who must adapted to the RS232 level of the PC.

No power supply is needed! To power the circuit I use the DTR and RTS signals of the PC: These pins are at +12V level.

It has been optimized for a Yaesu FT-890 TRX together with a multimode software for digital modes. Here with HamRadioDeluxe
